¶¶Òõpro partners with Uwill, a technology-based teletherapy platform for all degree-seeking ¶¶Òõpro students. Uwill’s innovative platform links students to a diverse and experienced team of licensed mental health professionals within 24 hours. Students can then connect and receive support from their assigned counselor in any format they like – video, chat, text or phone. Uwill provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Scope of Care

In order to serve our student body, our mental health counseling services are goal-directed and generally short-term and solution-focused. Though we do not have formal session limits, students typically average 6-8 sessions a semester. If you believe that the counseling we provide does not meet your needs, we can provide referrals to community providers.

We define our general scope of care regarding individual counseling with one of our staff therapists as treating students with mild-to-moderate or severe distress that will likely reduce rapidly with clinical interventions. Possible indicators that severe distress could reduce rapidly with clinical interventions include:

  • Severe distress that is acute/short-term/recent.
  • Severe distress with 1-2 specific symptoms.
  • Severe distress that appears in response to adverse situations.
  • Severe distress that is known to reduce rapidly with interventions that CHWC can provide.

When presenting concerns that are beyond CHWC’s scope of care, we will provide referrals to community providers who can offer the appropriate level of treatment. Tuition costs do not cover community-based services, in most cases.
